corey is a fourth year digital media 📱 student at the university of leeds, just returned from a year abroad in rochester, new york 🌎. he's passionate about design — whether that's web, graphic, advertising, ui or ux; and thinks the world would be a boring place without it. he hopes to one day be able to utilise his design for the greater good through advocacy and non-profit groups.
corey is also a laidlaw scholar — a group of worldwide ✈️ students from select universities that demonstrate the ambition and drive 🚘 to become the next generation of ethical world leaders; giving him the opportunity to travel to fiji 🇫🇯 in summer 2022 to work directly with the fijian government and ministry of health to improve lives within the nadroga—navosa region.
outside of academia, corey ❤️ going on long hikes 🏔️, late night walks 🚶🏼, socializing with his friends 🗣️, traveling 🧳, eating good food 🌮, and drinking lots of tea ☕️. he's also recently just started running🏃🏼♂️, having completed his first half marathon 🏁 in april 2023, raising over $700 in memory of his late friend lulu, who passed from terminal cancer on january 1st, 2023.
