a zine about dreams was a class collaborative project. the theme "dreams" was determined by the graphic design 1 class – each of us created 1 double paged spread. this project closely related to the riso printing project – and therefore i applied the concept of cities to both with similarities between the two designs.
specifications: 1 landscape spread 11" x 8.5". all images and text created by myself.

the process work
i used photographs taken from a recent trip to chicago and combined them with hand drawn elements which were scanned in, a hand written poem, and a digitally drawn city scape. i envisioned the zine to be simplistically black and white and thus stuck to this theme. to add an additional layer of depth, i printed the sheet, crumpled it and scanned it in before submitting the digital file above.
